The Question Box is a versatile tool for any ESL classroom. It consists of 200 questions with each question on its own individual card. Each card is the size of a business card. At first glance teachers think of conversation cards, and they would be right. Each student picks a card and then mingles with the class and asks his/her question to individual students. In addition, The Question Box is easily adapted for reading, writing, listening, and speaking. For example the teacher can ask a student to choose a card and read it to the class. The class can either answer the question orally or write their answers. There are many ways to use The Question Box. Helpful suggestions on how to adapt the Question Box are included in each set.
